My name is Dubravko Jelić and I was born in 1977. I have always lived by the sea and with the sea, and already as a child I fell in love with boats, especially sailing boats. As my ancestors come from a small island, I really enjoy sailing and the marine world. I have been a member of the Blue World Institute of Marine Research and Conservation for years and have adopted a bottlenose dolphin named Ivan. Of that I am very proud.
For years I have been studying the history, culture, gastronomy, enology and, in short, the way of life of people from Dalmatia, and indeed, our history is very rich and interesting.
Also, I am a member of the Croatian Sailing Federation with participation in over one hundred sailing regattas. I am the founder and president of the Strožanac Sailing Club and a delegate member of the Croatian Sailing Federation Assembly. I am also an organizer of sailing regattas and various sailing and ecology educational programs, some of them on meteorology, rescue and first aid at sea, navigation and radio links, as well as many other educational programs.
In a nutshell, after many years my hobby has become my profession and today, I am a certified skipper with an ISAF Offshore Personal Survival Course license. Nowadays, I use my many years of experience and my knowledge in tourism.
I try to convey the complete experience of the sea, sailing, culture, gastronomy and enology of the Adriatic to my guests. I'm a super host with many very positive reviews from my previous guests so I invite you to book a tour on my sailing boat. Welcome aboard!
